Tropical Storm Helene is forecasted to hit Florida as a hurricane late tomorrow, with warnings extended across the state. A hurricane warning is in place for the west coast, with a storm surge warning for most of the west coast. The storm surge could reach between 10 and 15 feet in some areas. A tropical storm warning is also in place for much of the east coast and the Florida Keys. Helene is also heading towards Mexico, with Cancun’s beaches emptying as the storm approaches.
